Creating a pipeline for the future means acknowledging that everyone doesn’t have the same starting point. We design our programmes to be 100% girl-led which means that girls are full participants in addressing the barriers that hinder them from fulfilling their potential. We endeavour to take these learnings and make access to these opportunities much easier, not deciding what these opportunities look like in the first place.

All girls should have the opportunity to spark their confidence.
When girls are at the forefront of addressing their needs and the change they would like to see - this purpose starts to spark confidence. We work with girls to tap into this confidence through contributing their feelings, understanding, experiences, creative ideas and solutions into a world that needs girls' input.
👉 Creative Education
All girls deserve to flex their creative muscles (not just the lucky few)
Creativity shouldn’t be a subject only accessible to the lucky few and it is not talent, genes or privilege that makes you creative but a muscle within all of us that can be flexed. We provide girls with the tools to build their creative confidence and see its significance when girls apply creative skills to design a world in which they are equal.
👉 Longevity
All girls need opportunities that grow as they do.
Affective change requires a continuum of services and relevant types of services that will sustain girls from girlhood to womanhood. One-off support has good intentions but can often do more harm than good - what happens once it is over or gone? For us, impact lies in creating multiple and sustained touch points for girls over the course of their lives so that they may have positive tethers to a responsive, supportive and safe space through the many phases of their lives.
👉 Leading Change
All girls have the opportunity to hold positions of influence and decision making in all spheres of life.
Girls' issues are seen as problems to be solved but we see girls as the problem solvers, the change lies with them but the responsibility to listen lies with us all. This means bringing girls' voices into the picture in an authentic way and on their terms. We continuously create ways for girls to be heard in every decision making process of our programmes and strive to boost a young girl's social, cultural and economic independence.

Advancing Gender Equality Using Creativity as a Vehicle for Good
Sisterhood aims to contribute towards the advancement of UN Sustainable Goals of gender equality, quality education and reducing inequalities. The World Bank states that ‘girls education positively impacts 9 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals; and through our programmes and design work we are redesigning the systems and structures that aren’t working for girls.
Within Sisterhood girls on our social impact programmes create projects which respond to the sustainable development goals global call to action to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
