Sisterhood co-founders were recognised for by Forbes on the 2021 30 Under 30 list for Europe for systemically and sustainably transforming education, business and beyond.


Sisterhood wins Natwest x ITV Backing Business - Business is Extraordinary competition and secures TV AD spot on ‘This Morning’

Rachita Saraogi and Rebecca Thomson are the founders of Sisterhood, a creative social action programme for teenage girls, and one of three SMEs to win a TV advertisement worth over £150,000. They explain how they’re seeking to minimise the negative effect of the pandemic on access to creative educational and vocational opportunities for girls. A Space for Sisterhood - Appear Here x Space for Ideas - Space for Change Winners Launch Bookshop and Storytelling Lab in London.

Sitting down with Appear Here to talk about how our idea for the bookshop and storytelling lab became a reality in the heart of Covent Garden.

Appear Here: Girls Who Read Lead - Sisterhood’s first ever public space opens it doors in Covent Garden.

As winners of our brand-new Space for Ideas category – Space for Change – Sisterhood was awarded with the opportunity appear across 2,224 square feet in Covent Garden. A high-ceilinged, light-filled space in Slingsby Place was home for two weeks to Strong Lead, a bookshop and storytelling lab aimed at getting diverse voices on the shelf. Their hero product? A self-published anthology, Find Me Among Them, written by eleven teenage girls who took part in the Sisterhood programme this past year. Through prose and poetry, they explore issues of identity, equality, and justice.

Marble LDN were paired with us to co-design our Space for Change (Appear Here) through designing and producing the storytelling lab, working in collaboration with the Appear Here and Sisterhood teams to deliver an event with purpose and impact.

Find Me Among Them - The first designed and published book written by 14 teenage girls from Stratford on a Sisterhood School Programme.

Sisterhood winners of the GUAP x Reebok Legacy Winner

In late October 2021 both the team and audiences at GUAP and Reebok nominated people they believed to be creating a legacy with a creative venture or business idea. Out of many applications, three amazing projects made the shortlist and Sisterhood won the Write Your Legacy grant. Sisterhood was recognised for its sustainable and scalable business model and dedication to bringing more creative opportunities to young people.

From Spare Rib to Sisterhood was an 'in conversation' event held at Central Saint Martins during the A+ exhibition. Katy Hepburn and Sally Doust, the original designers of ground-breaking feminist magazine Spare Rib; and Marina Viktorsson, Rachita Sarogi, Rebecca Thomson of the newly formed Sisterhood collective were in conversation with current graphic design students and teaching staff, talking about their work, their inspiration and feminism and graphic design.
